Our member, Venture Outdoors Co, is hiring Outdoor Education Guides to join their team in the Snowy Mountains.
- Part-time position based across Jindabyne, Tumut, Snowy & Monaro NSW
- Deliver centre-based and expedition-style outdoor education programs
- Lead and facilitate school groups through meaningful outdoor experiences
- Activities include hiking, mountain biking, flat-water and moving-water paddling
- Lead group programs or support as an activity specialist, depending on qualifications and experience
- Prepare equipment, conduct gear checks and deliver safety briefings
- Facilitate hard-skill instruction and post-activity learning
- Support camping, meals, campsite set-up and overnight expeditions when required
- Current Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership and Swift Water Rescue required
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications required; Wilderness First Aid preferred
- Current Australian driver's licence and NSW Working with Children Check required
- Previous outdoor guiding and school outdoor education experience is desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
